Music Team
The music team at Northstar is responsible for leading our adult worship service each week. It’s a team of people who love God and are well-crafted musicians and vocalists. It’s an ever-growing, creative group of people who seek to know God in a deeper way and function in a high music capacity. Performing Arts
Contrary to popular treatment of the performing arts in church settings, we want to dispel the lie that drama is a failed or weakened art form. As an actor or patron of the stage, God values what you do. The performing arts is an area of worship and creative expression that we as a ministry approach with humility, attempting to gracefully reinsert the theatrical stage into the epicenter of the church and the community. For so long, the value of this incredibly superlative art form has been lost amidst cheesy and ambiguous expositions. Performing ArtsCreative Writing
As a writer, your art is incredibly important to God. We believe in putting an emphasis on providing a place where words are valued once again. The Creative Writing team is an expanding group of literary artists that exists as an additional branch of Northstar Worship Arts. We are patrons of the written word and seek to increase its value in the church and community as we hone writing skills and look to gain an ever-growing knowledge of our craft by participating in gallery readings, writer’s groups, book clubs and other events. Visual Arts
Bay County, Florida possesses a wealth of visual artists who perpetually create images that not only reflect the South’s inescapable beauty, but also attempt to identify with its Creator. As an artist, your work is profoundly significant in God’s eyes as well as well as our own. Northstar Church’s Visual Arts team adopts the responsibility of supporting the arts community by participating in gallery hops, art festivals, art shows, and chartered projects. Visual ArtsStudent Music
Our student music team is a place for students who play instruments and/or sing to have an opportunity to grow in their art and their heart for worship while leading other students in worship. As a part of this team we offer both spiritual and artistic instruction as well as the opportunity to be a part of leading worship in our student ministry. Our preschool and elementary school children’s environment are exciting places to lead worship! if you sing or dance, we would love to help you get plugged in to serve in this area!
